i know i'm probably really stupid for asking, but i was wondering if you could maybe share your battle system secrets with me. i'm trying to make an exciting new Final Fantasy game, and i want to use a battle system, but none that i've created have even been better than like 1/10000 of your's. if you want me to prove myself worthy in some way, then i bow humbly before your feet.

Sorry buddy we have no plans on giving the system out to the public. The only people that have acess to the records and acess to the battle system is me and Dark. We might be able to work something out if u proimse you don't give it to the public.

You need some skill in triggering before thinking about doing this. You must be used to nested "if/then/else" and "for each integer".

The very basic is to have a real-array number that increase each 0.1 sec if a boolean = false. Once the real number = a fixed value (like 1000), you set the boolean(call it like Ready) to true to block the increase. Then you make a system that allow people to choose an action, run the action, turn the boolean false.

Showing the ATB bar like I am doing is my little secret. Only a few people know how I did this. I'll let you a hint tho: real / fixed value ...

PS: Mordrag, did you figure out how's the triggers working? :>

i could give you guys something in return possibly.. terraining is my real skill, so i could help you out with that, or possibly the storyline. and don't worry about me giving away secrets, being as how i wanted to use the battle system for my project, and seeing as how my project is going, it'll probably be out long after HeroRPG is finished.

thanks-
