Team Colors

I have looked over a few tutorials and they say i need the mdx so i convert it to the mdl then i can edit it in notepad. Right now I have no idea how to extract the model or whatever i need to do. The skin that I want to remove the team color from is in blp mode. Can someone help me and tell me a program to use or whatever I can do to convert the files to mdx/mdl?

I have now found the mdx files but when I try using Yobgul's converter to find the MDX and convert it to MDL it doesnt show up on the browse list.
