I searched for the answer to this, but never quite found what I needed. I'm having a problem with getting a custom hero to be permanently removed from a tavern after it is purchased. I based the heroes off of the Naga Sea Witch, and have no problems at all paying the cost and receiving the hero under my control. If I set Stock Replenish Interval to 0, the hero is just always available at my Max of 1. I've also tried using a Trigger with the action "Neutral Building - Remove (Unit-type of (Sold unit)) from <structure>" to remove it when the hero is sold, but that doesn't work either. How can I keep the stock at 0 or remove the hero entirely from the tavern after someone buys it? |

Remove Unit from Tavern means remove unit from stock, iirc. I believe Hezza's method is the only working one. If there is another, it has slipped my mind. |

I believe that I have found a solution to my own question. Do not set the heroes that you want the tavern to sell in the object editor. During initialization (or whenever you want), use a trigger to add the heroes to the tavern. They will show up with a stock of 1, and will be completely removed from the tavern when someone hires it. |

He didn't say he wanted each player to be able to buy one. |
