hello all. i am new to skinning , and modeling, 2 things that i would love to learn how to do. first off, i started learning by dling some skins and mods on this site( which are amazing and great ) , and then i looked at some tutorials for importing them. the tutorials, though are great in size, offer no help to someone new like me. i have done the examples in the tutorials, but when i comes to importing a model or skin that is not in the tutorial, its just one confusing mess. Examples: model of sephiroth, what is the path name? , skins for blade masters and demon hunters. blood elfs. u name it, i have dled i think all the skins and models , but i can't do anything with them cause i don't know the custom paths so i can't import them. I would greatly appreciated if someone would post some custom paths and especially explain in detail how to import models and skins. i know its not hard. i think the biggest problem with me is that i don't know where to find the custom paths. if anyone can tell me where i can get the custom paths for skins and models , plz tell me. also to the leaders in this website, i think it would be a great idea to put the custom paths next to all the skins and modles, so to make it easier for people dling the files. ty for ur time. :D

The easiest way to find the textur epath of a model is to look at the model itself. It may seem complicated at first, but is an essetiall step to learn.

Get hold of the Warcraft 3 file converter from the tool downloads.
Convert your model (.mdx) into .mdl, then open in a text browser.
Scroll down, or search for Texture, and you will find a few lines of texture paths. Normally, the main skin path is the first texture, and should have a relevant name to the model (ie HeroBladeMaster.blp).
