how to reskin an mdx?

Does anyone know how to reskin an attached part to a model, I wanted to use the pitlord wings for a dragon skin, but I can't seem to figure out how to reskin the mdx. Anyone know?

You edit the skin the attachment came from, so in this case edit the pit lord's skin.

cool thanks, I tried that before a while ago, but I think I might have been using the wrong unit path I'll try that.
