A botering unit

I want to make a bothering unit that follows the location where the player is looking at, then it sends transmissions to the player, telling to the player that he sucks! if the player kills it, It will respawn and make the player's life awful.

It could have an ability that lowers the mouse sensibility, so the player can hardly control his units, and then the bothering unit says: "you looser, you can't even move your mouse, you should turn off your computer and play super-nintendo"

So it's no posible that the unit could follow the place where the player is looking at?

It is, but this is a spam thread, so no one will answer. Sorry.

He's asking you guys how to do it, and you tell him it's spam.

Wow, way to help him out.

What I'd do, is make it so that the unit is owned by Neutral Passive, and have it be very fast. Tell it to move to the center of Player 1's camera all the time. You can do this by making a trigger of sorts like this:

Event:
Periodic game time, every .15 seconds
Unit:
Issue order to unit to move to (Center of Camera for player)

That's just me thinking, not actually copy and pasted from the editor. But I'm sure you can find the information.

We realize he was only asking for help, but he could have presented a better example... Instead of "flaming" the would-be player.

thanks for the help! but how can I change the unit's speed to more than 400, I tried it in game constants and I can't set it to a higher value.

You can set it to 522.

I wouldn't consider this flame at all.. he asked a simple question, and he just wants an answer. I think it's irrelevant what he is going to use it for...

Try using WEU, a custom world editor.

You will find that you can set unit speed higher than 400 using it.

Hey thanx, I downloaded WE Unlimited and got the speed to > 400, now the idea has evolved, I'll use the unit as a ""helper"" with tips, and stuff, the helper will be disabled and enabled by the user.
