Prioritizing abilities

I did a search and read a couple threads on this but they weren't very helpful.

Basicly I have several 'hidden' abilities that keep taking the slots of 'real' abilities. When you add a real ability it doesn't bump off a hidden one, yet when I remove all the hidden ones the real one is there. So I've tried adding the hidden ones back and they overwrite the real one again.

Why does adding hidden ones move the real one out of it's slot yet adding the real one doesn't move a hidden one? It's crucial that we have the hidden abilities but I don't want them taking all the slots away from real abilities.

HELP! :)

Probably has to do with the button positions of the real and hidden abilities.

Eh. Isn't this a question for general map development?

Sure if it's as simple as assigning priorities, just tell me where that field is and I'll do it. But I think it's a little more complicated than that and will require a trigger.

I may have a workaround you can use, if you cant figure it out on your own, depending on the number of hidden abilities you have and what they do you may try this. You have room for two extra abilities besides the hero abilities.

since these abilities are hidden i am assumeing that they are passive, if this is the case you may be able to combine the effects using triggers into one or two abilities which you can place into one of the free slots.

To make the abilities hidden this way you would just have to give them an icon with the same picture as a blank slot.

It's far more complicated than that. I actually figured out how to do it, but the method basicly ruins my plans. The only way to give an ability priority is to learn it first IN GAME. If you do a trigger giving hidden abilities before your regular abilities they will always have priority... Pretty much blows.
