The Tales of Raviganion is a mod that replaces all the orginal warcraft 3 races with new ones: Humans are replaced with Wood Elfs, Orcs with Trolls, Undead with Chaos and Night Elfs with Swamp Dwellers. The mod is a melee mod, which means it does not yet contain any campaign. It comes with an in-built AMAI (Advanced Melee AI) for single player games as well as battle.net and multiplayer support. The version of the mod is complete but new versions are always in development. For more information and screenshots visit the official website here.

We are currently progressing fine on the 3.22 version. The main purpose of it is polishing up the overall feel of the mod as well as better eyecandy and balance. Also thanks to Cookie, we're compressing the mod, making it take up less space. The full version has been compressed down with 40 mb already. We're working as hard as we can to balance and polish this version. Hopefully it will turn out more or less bugfree as well as balanced in a much bigger degree, and if we are lucky, this might be the final version before we start working on the offical campaign.

We are currently not in that big need of people, but if you can model and skin and animate your models, your help is greatly appreaciated. Also we're looking for some voice actors and sound creators to give the mod a bit more unique feel. Another thing which would be greatly appreciated is someone to host a b.net server for TToR 3.22. Your connection will have to be fast both up and down and you have to know how to set up a b.net server.

Anyway that was all for now. I'll report back later when there's some new updates.

I love the new little green lizardmen models you can see in that screenshot (they have the slimey glean you get from something like a frog, as seen in the Slann King), Rightfield, they look excellent. As for the units which use the Larch / gnoll model as a basis.. the faces on those guys look very odd, and in some cases the bodies just don't seem in proportion.. I think if you just made them new heads it might turn out looking alot better.

Also, the Triceratops's rider guy seems a little too skiny / blocking (oddly shaped head too), perhaps you could buff him up a little? The head will probably end up looking better as you add more details, but I still look forward to seeing the next updates. :)
