How to develop 73h 5k1ll5

Im pretty much a photoshop and Flash (using flash mx) noob, and was wondering how the best way was to improve in both of those programs.
Any ideas?

i'd reccomend deathlegionaire's route, that's what i did (and still do)....

but theres lots of photoshop tutorials on the internet... although if you're looking to paint and do art rather than make cool effects, all you need is the brush tool. (and a little knowledge in opacity, brush size, and stuff like that... and a wacom tablet helps)

Yea, messing arounds how I usually find out how stuff works etc, I was wondering if anyone knew any tutorials or specific things I should start off with.
