The Redeemer

I based this skin off of the Redeemer from Todd McFarlane's Spawn comic series. I just used the wings I did on Abaddon; although I'm 100% positive I could make them look better I want to watch some tv tonight so I quit early on him and didn't do his wings. Hope you enjoy.

Edit: the little black splotch on the way left picture of his weapon and really on his green cross is not a defect of the skin, while taking pics in WE I use layers to put them together -- I just forgot to erase that part of a layer on top of it so it left that black on it... sorry!

I decided to add a group picture for anyone who hasn't seen my other skins; it's not that great of a quality and it's hard to get a good group picture of 15 skins -- the Crypt lord is pretty much non-visible back there so forget about him. Eh, I tried. I kept the grid because it was sort of artistic. :D

That looks really good in fact, it reminds me of your Abaddon but I like this one better. The colors just blend better maybe and the detail is great. :D

I absolutely love this skin, the armor looks excellent and completely blows any other type of armor I have ever seen on a warcraft 3 skin out of the water. Is there any way you could alpha out the horns or something? If not, do you think maybe attaching wings to the regular demonhunter model would look better? It doesn't really matter though, he looks awesome as he is. It's too bad you can't have unit sounds play without having the mouth move in the portrait, otherwise he'd be almost perfect in-game.

I agree about making the wings better too, but I really think you could make some better looking ones by skinning one of the wing attachments from metalplanet.org or someplace and using them on him instead, that way you could also customize them any way you pleased.

As another idea, do you think maybe giving him reskinned versions of the odd weapon from metalplanet.org (I forget the name, but I know ToB's Leto uses them) would look better? The blades just don't seem like his style, but they should work in any event. Maybe you could reskin the other weapons to be bright gold and have crosses in the middle as well.

Did you make the Redeemer for BGE, Kain? Will he replace Abaddon? I've growned concerned since the website and forums on the BGE site have grown desolate as of late.

Yes, the action figure is actually inches away from me. ^_^ I may look into using custom wings or something, seems doubtful though, would require model editing I suppose, that is unless I did use the DH and just attached like you mentioned.

This guy won't replace Abaddon; BGE is going to be reborn once we get the new patch from Blizzard so we can once again work on it with the new terrain we have.

The green cross is on Redeemer, and I figured I had to use it somewhere. The blades were done the quickest out of anything just to get them done, took probably five minutes of work to get them like that, I'll probably add more detail to them, who knows.

ya fix those blades. I hrt that breast plate. The only thing i dun like about ur skins is that everything on them looks squeecy clean like they picked up there armor from the shop yesterday and have never had a blade touch apon them. U still have a nice style tho.

Another great skinner, I'm falling behind in terms of quality, I must get someone to help me with my skinning abilities once i get good at modeling (I got a mentor for that w00t).

The red satyr, gold+black Blademaster and Beastmaster are sucky, I like that troll and can you show a better pic of the green DH behind the satyr?

I was listening to what you were saying until you said that the Gold/Black BM was sucky; then I totally disregarded what you said. Want to know why? You can't even see 3/4 of the Gold/Black BM and he's also in a weird position. So quick to pass judgment aren't we? Please buddy, do me a favor and don't evaluate my skins again.
