I was wondering if this was possible, since I'm making a four-level long siege at the end of my campaign that happens on a mountain fortress and need to know three things.

1. How do I place different cliff types in a tileset. I need Dalaran Square Tile cliffs and Lordaeron Snow cliffs down.

2. How do I make something like a narrow, jagged walkway made out of snow just extend out of a cliff. It'll be a nice death scene of an evil human leader being pushed off a cliff by an Orc.

3. How do I make every single edge of a pond or something a ramp. I see lots of completely ramped or whatever you wanna call it.

1. Look under Advanced > Modify Tileset. You can change cliff types from there by checking the "use custom tileset" box.

2. Look for the Miscdata.txt file. It's somewhere in this forum (I think I need to keep track of all this stuff). Then you can use the "raise terrain" tool in the terrain pallete to make high cliffs. Like this:

3. Create a new map and set the initial height to shallow water. Then use the "raise terrain" tool to raise the land out of the water. Then use the "plateau" tool on the raised land to raise all the land in your map to the same height. Then to make ponds, just lower the land using the "lower terrain" tool back down to water level.

Put the Miscdata.txt in the UI folder in the Warcraft III directory. If there isnt a folder, then make one.

Edit: Oh, I didn't notice you made a sticky about it, Beam. :\

For the 2 different cliff types in the same tile set you have to use something other than normal WE, i sugest WEUnlimited. As you cant add remove or replace cliff tiles in WE or WEu using the modify tileset option. you have to open the WEu enhanceer and choose your cliff tiles there, then save the map, and open it with WEU
