Harvest contest

Greetings, now, in this contest, your goal is to model/skin/animate the harvest golem! The one who models the best harvest golem will receive the halo lost prophecy beta when it becomes available! (H:LP forums found here)
The harvest golem will be a hero, so he will have hero glow. As for his animations, here is a list of animations he should have:
Stand (As little as 2 to as many as 5)
Walk (1 or 2, should match the gif)
Spell (Normal spell, slam and maybe channel, use your imagination)
Attack (2 or 3, don't forget stand ready too.)
stand victory (optional)
death (Think mountain giant, make him fall backwards)
disapate (like all heroes)

i came here about 5 days after this project started and began modeling him then. ive finished him for about 85% i guess but im a bit tired off him.

ive decided to put this one in the fridge for some time and model some other unit first. i know i wont make the deadline but i dont mind tough...

These contests are all requests, the master contest requests you to use your imagination in several catagorys, as for the pictures, very nice, don't forget the things on his back please. EDIT: Oh, he's got the sticks on his back but you hid em, nevermind then.

Bro, its not flaming, and I think not too many moderators are in this section of the site to judge.

If you think about it, every contest here is probably a request. It's just this is a proper contest, because you get something back. In real life, when there's a contest, what do the creators want? Something from you. They are requesting that you make something for them, and they give you something back, if it's good.

Dude, lighten up and be a little more sociable. The worst is yet to come.

guys, stfu! im not in this for the prize, im in it cuz i wanted to model a unit that was "easy" and where i had some art i could base it on.

by some chance of luck i got here and was interested in this 1. it also happened that the winner gets the halo mod beta. if there wasnt anything to win i still wouldve done him.

i also think there are some people here who disquise there request as a contest but i usually take a peek at their wishes and see if its "do-able", so nothing like, create me this, that, and that unit, skin it animate it for me and you win credits and my eternal gratitude...

just to inform you guys, im still here and working on the harvest golem.

ive done al the modeling and rigging and im animating him as we speak. i first had some problems with animating cuz i had never done that but now im getting there, slowly... very slowly :)

it will take some time but ill finish this in the end, and then its time for the skin...

And keep it up! At the skinning stage we can gather some skinners from Skinning & Texturing forum, if you dont want do it yourself.
