3d graphic help! NEWWBI!

ok, all the time i see ppl making KOOl 3d graphic for WC. and i was wondering, how did u start so i can start making things like that! im only 13 so i ait got $$. i have Gmax but not 3dsmax. I really love making graphics! plz help me! with tutorials and stuff! thanx! ^_^

I suggest you to first read all the stickies in this forum (specially the Art-tools tutorial here). That gives you first, basic moves in 3d modeling.

ok but i dont have 3d studio max for art tools. i guess ill read it! thanx! any other suggestions plz tell me!
