heavy locker u need a pass, which not every map is protected by, and you hafto ask the creator for the password (if he added one)

or... use winmpq and check the map if its imported 'war3map.wtg' and delete that, ask darky, he knows

btw... maps are protected to prevent noobs from ripping their map

Uh? what? I don't really understand what you typed, all I got was how do you open a protected map.

You can't, not that I know of. People protect maps for reasons, so no one can steal their work.

Unprotecting maps is wrong. If a person protects a map, they don't want people opening it.
