Yes its another villager modification :\ I'm making it for one of my maps, i already made the shoulder pads from some clever modifications to a drawven rifleman shoulder pad. The thing i'm wondering now is, what to do with the cruddy cloth shirt he has, I'm up for suggestions plz. Note that i'm still a begginer so please don't suggest anything that complex :) |

Uhh, the should pads look like heavy armour so i'd give him a suit of chainmail. |

Yea I think i'll go with the chainmail, if that doesn't work out well i'll try dark leather, thx for the suggestions, and that screenshot was the closest i could get to the villager :\ Its not much better than a recolor since the pads are very cleverly manipulated from the drawven rifleman pads. I pretty much took two of the pads, flipped one vertically, then overlapped them. Another newb question but any suggestions on how to do chainmail from scratch? I tried looking for a model to steal some chainmail to manipulate but i couldn't find anything that worked :\ |

Hey guys since i didn't feel up to the chainmail version yet i made a pretty good leather armour. Still cut and paste, i stole the studs from manipulated steam tank rivets, but i like it. What do you think? The studs are sometimes hard to see but they're there (look at upper chest) You should prob look at enlarged vers, maybe i should make those rivits a bit bigger Edit: Maybe i should rephrase that, i don't want to make it sound like i'm asking for suggestions then ignoring them, i just kinda made the leather thing while i was waiting for replies on where the chainmail tut is. 2Edit: Decided to improve on the studded leather part, I'm going back to doing the chainmail as planned now :) |
