Make an animation play faster.

How can I make a unit's stand animation play faster ? I've got a unit whose stand animation is so slow (though I gave it a fast speed in the unit's stats) the unit seems to ba walking in a dream. I tried to fix it by editing the velocity field for this animation in the mdl, but it didn't change anything. Can I fix this using mdl editing ?
Other question : I've got a hero model from which I've removed the hero glow, and it has no corpse and no decay animation so it can't have a proper death. Can I fix it by simple mdl editing, or do I need 3dsMax ?

1st question: not sure
2nd question: yes, you need to add a corpse to the hero
<heros don't have corpses>

open wc3viewer-> find the hero model you want to modify ->extract *.mdx
get yobgul's converter to convert it into a .mdl file
if you have 3dsmax or gmax or something, import the .mdl file and try to copy a corpse model from another unit model i.e. footman

Thanx for help, but I already knew all this, what I wanted to know was if there was a way to do it using ONLY .mdl editing (tutorial or something...).
