Ahoy! Well I was taking a look at the models on this site that are up for download in the downloads section, and everything went well.. downloaded.. imported.. it listed what the paths should be.. worked fine. But then I came across some models such as the EasterRabbit one for example.. where it doesn't have a readme or say what the paths should be when I import.. and I can't seem to get it to work. So I'm wondering how should I know what the paths are? I tried Units\Critters\EasterRabbit\ and many other things.. didnt work tho. Sorry if this was a really newb question.. I read the import tutorial.. didnt help.. tried everything in WE.. nothin.. so this is my last resort. Any help would be appreciated! |

Well, it doesen't matter what model path you use but it says inside the model file what texture path to use. Some people would convert the .mdx'es to .mdl's before checking the skin path as it is easier to find in .mdl's but you can find them in the mdx'es too. It's kinda hard missing something like "Units\Human\Arthas\Arthas.blp" for example in the middle of weird chars that to me doesen't make any sense. |

Hrmm.. strange. Can't seem to find the path still. Checked .mdx and converted to .mdl.. nothing. Maybe you could find it for me? Here's one of the links: http://www.wc3sear.ch/index.php?p=Models&ID=303&sid= Trying to use other blizzard made ones too, but they have no paths. Hopefully you can find them.. I'd appreciate it. |
