need music helP!!!

Any advice, anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.... I have midi files but I could care less about them, I just need any method of getting WORKING music in game with minimal file size. My map is alrdy 3.5 megs and mp3s whatnot are waaaay too big Im praying and begging someone can help me :\

Well your wrong you can still have Mp3's in your map you will just have to adjust the compression on them while this reduces their sound quality it is the only way to minimize their size. I recommend you download CDex its very good mp3 compression software and its freeware ^_^ .

All you have to do in this software is turn the MP3 into a WAV file then re-encode (turn it into) an MP3 again but this time adjust its kbps in the CDex options screen. The lower the kbps are the smaller the file size the higher the kbps the bigger the file size.

Ok, now I get the music into WE at a largely reduced file size and... bam, another problem. I know this is gonna sound like a total noob question lol but I can't get the music to play on a loop..... :\ help would GREATLY be appreciated

I am not sure, but if you set the music "as music" and set the trigger to play "music" instead of sound, it should loop it.

Why do people set their music as a sound anyway?
