hmmm... not that I'm much help but... turn the flow down to somewhere under 50% and just use a nice brush size... the whole line weight thing is something you need to experiment to get. icbm1987 |

normal hard brush at 100%, make a transparant layer above your scetch, and ink away... but i've only inked digitally like... twice maybe so... ^^~! mostly i just use markers... i should start scanning some stuff.. |

Uhhh... due to X's vacation type thing... and Orin's complete neglect of these forums... JAMBALAYA!!! And... I think He only inks when he feels like it... He shades first so that he knows which area's need heavier line weights... i think. icbm1987 |

i usually only use photoshop to color (i guess im too impatient to wait to finish my sketches sometimes) and do all the inking/linework with a pen. but like erwt said, just make a transparent layer on top of your art and draw lines over it (tablet is probably required if you want the lines to look nice and have varying line weights.... unless you happen to be extremely talented with a mouse or have a lot of free time) |

HURRAY! I FINALLY LEARNED HOW TO USE ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR WHICH IS SO MUCH EASIER THEN INKING IT DIGITALLY OR MANUALLY! sorry for the big caps. its so clean! now theres another way to ink. you can do that, so yea.... its like the pen tool but easier. |
