I want to add some referee whistle sound and audience sound to my soccer map. Anyone know where can download them? Even better, if you have such sound files, could you send them to me? Thanks a lot!!! |

Almost forgot, it will be nice too if I can add several soccer related midi into the game, like "The Cup of Life", "We are the champions", the theme song of the World Cup that just passed (I think this one is no good actually, can't even remember its name), or any other related songs you can think of. Can anyone give me link where I can download them? |

Thanks a lot! I found the whistle sound there. But I still need some audience cheering sound. Anyone know where can I get it? How about the midi of the songs? |

Guest | If you're willing to pay 5 or so bucks, you can download a sound effect from this site: http://www.sounddogs.com/start.asp All SFX are culled from pro compilations, completely royalty free, and available at 44.1 khz, 16 bit. Searchable database, with previews in most popular formats, and the price is based upon length, so you can download a shorter sound. 142,000 sfx online. If you're really desperate for a free solution, though, you can tape a football game, or a soccer game, hook the vcr up to your soundcard, and record, trim, and fade a section to your heart's content!! In the context of a game, most people wouldn't notice a faded-up segment of cheering in place of a real cold-start cheer. |

Thanks! Nice site. Though I haven't considered paying money for making a War3 map. ;) Hmmm, of course I know method 2, but I was too lazy to do it. :P |

Guest | You can always record the output of the preview on the sounddogs site! Set your soundcard to record the output (i.e. on soundblaster cards, the input for record is "what u hear"). Just find an effect that has a halfway decent preview, and record it in a standalone editor! It's not great, but it might not be noticed in context! :D |

Guest | "We are the Champions" can be found on a lot of sites, I believe... http://www.classicqueen.com/songs/news/champions1.mid http://queen.wz.cz/midi/MIDI.zip http://209.197.86.65/20020902/f/quee..._Champions.mid ...and it turns out I was right! Did a Google search, and all of these were on the first page - Queen's pretty popular! Let's see -- I'm not a soccer fan, so perhaps you're talking about the Ricky Martin song? (not a fan of his, either!) http://www.geocities.com/SouthBeach/Lagoon/3013/cup.mid http://ynucc.yeungnam.ac.kr/~bwlee/midi_l.htm (3 versions!) Ah, searching further, it appears I was right! Perhaps, though, you were looking for another "We Are the Champions"? I saw another song with that phrase within a longer title, and perhaps that's what you're looking for... don't know the artist, but you can probably do a Google search and find it easy. Have fun! :ggani: |

Find a football game for sounds. There's loads out there, and the poor ones usually have the .wav's just in directory's. |
