WC3: Ner'zhul's Revenge

I thought I'd try to start a new campaign thing... similar to the Blizzard games in format and story and such...


Things in RED are in dire need of suggestions. Things in YELLOW could use some tweaking. Everything else is still in need of adjustment.

Storyline: It has been nearly 3 years since the battle for the Frozen Throne, The Undead Scourge have atlast pushed the Blood Elf and Naga forces back off of the IceCrown Glacier, and into the wilderness.


Undead

New Heroes:

Dark Emporor

Story: These ethereal Beings were once the Lich King's Death Knights, fused with the magical energies that were emmited during the Frozen Throne's explosion, they have been blessed with Cold Magic and Speed, in exchange for their bones.

Main Attribute: Agility
Agility-20(2.3 per level)
Strength- 15 (1.8 per level)
Intellegence- 18 (2.0 per level)

Abbilities:

Frost Bolt: Deals 200/400/600 damage, and slows target's movement rate by 20% and attack rate by 35% for 5/10/15 seconds.

Cold Wave: Similar to War Stomp or Thunder Clap, the Dark Revenant sends out a wave of cold energy, slowing nearby enemies' movement rate by 25%/50%/75% and attack rate by 50%/60%/70% for , and dealing 30/60/90 points of damage to each target (Damage Capped to 5/7/10 units).


Inner Strength: Boosts Power, power boost becomes more dramatic with each level.

Boosts Hit Points by 100/200/400, boosts Attack by 15/25/35 points, boosts damage and duration for other abbilities by 1.5. Also boosts Movement speed and attack rate.

Ultimate: Spirit Revival (Passive)

When the Dark Revenant Falls in battle, an evil spirit demon is risen from his corpse.

HP: 1200
Attack 20-30
Damage: Magic
Armour: 6
Type: Supreme (New Armour type, reduces all attacks to 50%)
Abbilities: Taunt


Reason for Inclusion: To give UD an Agility Hero.

New Units:

Frost Wraith

Production Building: Temple of the Damned
Upgrades: Unholy Strength, Unholy Armour, Wraith Training.
Range: 350
Attack: 16-18
Damage: Magic
Hit Points: 250
Armour: 2
Type: Unarmoured
Hits: Air and Ground Units

The living embodiment of Ner'zhul's power, these wraiths cannot only be used for their immense magical abbilities, but also their mystical strength.

Inner Cold (10 mana, 2 second cooldown): Slows an Enemy Unit for 10 seconds.
Cold Attack: Attacks slow enemies
Cold Boost: Increases target units attack by 50%.

Made to: Give UD the option to get a hero besides Death Knight.

Deathwing Spawn

Production Building: Boneyard. (Requires: Halls of the Damned)
Upgrades: Creature Attack, Creature Carapace, .

Made to: Counter Wyverns for the Undead.

Undead Campaign: Return to Draenor
Main Heroes: Ner'zhul (Dark Emporor), Anubarack (Crypt Lord), Teron Gorefiend (Lich)
Storyline: TBA

Orc

Heroes:

Ogre Chieftan:

Agility: 14 (1.8)
Intellegence: 18 (2.5)
Strength: 20 (2.3)

Eye of Kilgrogg (100 mana, 5 second cool-down):

1- No attack, moves quickly and has true-sight, has 150 hit points. (Unarmoured)
2- Deals 19-25 piercing damage and has true sight, has 250 hit points. (unarmoured)
3- Deals 30-35 piercing damage, has true sight and 350 hit points. (Unarmoured)

Burning Club (Passive)

10% chance that Attacks deal AOE damage and also reduce armour.

1- Deals 50 points AOE damage, and reduces armour by 2
2- Deals 100 points AOE damage, and reduces armour by 4
3- Deals 200 points of AOE damage, and reduces armour by 6

Boiling Blood (25 mana, 5 second cooldown, lasts 10 seconds.):

Increases attack rate and movement rate:

1- by 25%
2- by 50%
3-by 75%

Ultimate- Runes:

Similar to Goblin Land Mines, remain hidden until put in contact with an enemy unit, deals 300 damage to all targets.

Units:

Ogre Magedestroyer
Hit Points: 550
Armour: 2
Type: Medium
Attack: 20-23
Range: 250
Type: Piercing
Movement Speed: Average
Attack Rate: Average

These gargantuan warriors have transformed themselves into living mana-counters. Being able to use their fat bodies to absorb magic, their now enchanted clubs can steal magic from others.


Abilities: Spell Immunity, Resistant Skin, New Ability: Mana Blast, this unit's attacks will add steal mana from opponent's heroes/casters and give it to your own units with mana.

Reason for Inclusion: To give Orc an Anti-caster.

Ice Knight
Ner'zhul should be arthas with frostmourne and his helmet not a Dark Revenant...and Teron Gorefiend should be a lich cause when kil'jaeden captured nerzhul and his death knights he transformed the death knights into liches...

I forgot the Dark Revenant was a unit name... =\. I was planning on using the Arthas-Lich King model anyway.

I was also planning on having Teron be a remaining hero on Draenor. But I'll probably have him as an "Altered" Lich. ^^;;

I'll update the Orcs a bit later.

Magic
Don't bother messing around with Blizzard's heroes and story - they have their own plans for it. I suggest you try something more original, presumably about Northrend and the undead. Perhaps a final war of theirs against the other species there like the Nerbuians.

of course they have their own plans. I'm just trying to create an AU sortof story-line n_N.

I doubt I could come up with anything else anyway... this is my first campaign... if I start too out there... then it shall be a failure on my part.

I think, creating a good campaign, it should not be to close the rest of the stuff, make it say 30 years from roc...

Well it's supposed to involve all the factions not involved in WoW.

Such as The Watchers, Scourge, Fel Orcs, and Blood Elves. ^^;

Hmmm... sorry, I don't really know you but, perhaps you should try a somewhat easier campaign. Or perhaps try to join someone else's project for some experience. (I know my campaign all too well... I started almost 2 years ago, and I still didn't finished it yet, I'm still working on it though :P) Just a friendly suggestion :)
