okay, the strangest thing happoned... alowan told me, he saw a game called coastal conflict hosted on b.net, with the same set up: eos, maiev vs. Illidan... he didnt play it, but a friend of him did and he said it sucked. and our game is far from beta stage at the moment, its just mot there yet, so two things couls have happoned: someone someweher had the same idea at the same time but made it suck, or someone cheesed our idea, completed the map behind our backs, ****ed it up hand hosted it... help me find out what happoned! search b.net for this bitch i wanna spak to the asshole that did it. |

Wrong forum for a start. BUT. It is a known fact that maps that you have, and have never sent anyone appear sometimes when yuo view a game with a map you do not have. It's happened to BANE with Warbands, and to me with an unreleased AOS map I did. I joined the game, and the only difference was the teams, so it wasn't my map, it was just recognised as it. It happens... |

i know its the wrong forum, but i have most friends here on thsi forum who might be willing to help, and i know some of them are frequent aeos players so... and i know that glitch in the system, but i wasnt the one to see it... alowan did, and a friend of alowan, and i am verry sure that he never played or downloaded our map... i should have checked that though, but i really think he didnt... and besides, his friend said that he actually PLAYED it, wich is even more of an inpossubility. |

hmmm... you need to work on your spelling Erwt. tsk tsk. This could really ruin a map... early release would really suck. I say that it's probably what Whitehorn says it is, but if not... I'll look, although I don't really play that much anymore because my high speed modem is being evil. Find it yourself if you can and maybe we can see if someone really did rip you off. anything for a respected member, i joined a game that said '----------' (too embaressed to say gn) and it turned out to be totally different, it was like enfos or something |
