I've seen screenies with doodads that are sideways and they said it has to do will the pitch and roll settings. Well I've been trying to figure it out and i now come to the forum for advice on how to roll the doodad. Please help... |

In the object editor, there will be a field near the top saying something like Max Roll. Edit that field and the one below it to whatever you want and the doodad will roll and pitch. |

Beware, however, that some doodads look ugly with roll settings (trees, fences, buildings among others). |

I've edited the Max Pitch and Roll fields before but when i place the doodad nothing seems to have changed. |

The only thing i can possably think of would be that you havnt put the dodads on a slope. wihcih brings me to my own point. how do you get a doodad at an angle when not on sloped terrain, ive seen this only a few times, but when i move a doodad off a slope it goes back to its normal angle. is there somekind of "turn off/on reset roll/pitch angle like the reset doodad height option? |
