Hi. I was wondering if anybody could help with terrain for my new D2 AoS. What I need is... *3 well-defined main lanes *A noticeable, but not completely obvious connection/open area between the main lanes *A well detailed Harrogath and Chaos Sanctuary as the two bases *Bases in the upper right and lower left corners *A few well placed creep areas *The main fighting area to be Ashenvale to represent a far more detailed version of the Blood Moore *A large, hidden platteou on the outskirts of Harrogath to represent the Arreat Summit *A drastically scaled Plains of Despair with Izual in the center, hidden on the outskirts of the Chaos Sanctuary No specific size, just nothing excessively huge. I hope somebody can help. -Chaos |

I'm NOT positive, but I'm PRETTY sure this should go to the Request Forum |

I dont think there is a terrain request forum, theres an artists request forum, but thats for modeling skinning and concept art. most people seem happy to do theyre own terrain |

It's the School Finals/Exams here...bah... Though some other stuff pops up as well. Around this time of year there are many birthdays here. Or at least for me, quite some friends :) (and of course myself, but that still takes a few months :P) But still, I expected someone would still volenteer to help the poor guy ;) |

i dont even know what half the words mean in his post. thats probably a sign i should branch out from terraining and skinning |

I guess it would be more useful if you'd played D2. Well... I did... though it has been some years ago and my head feels like a computer that is ready to be rebooted :p But hey, I understood it... but, I just don't got the time to help. Though I think some people might be willing to help if they got some more information about it then just the request. Well, who knows, I don't usualy request things... :P Especially terrain :P |

just some advie, most terrain requests come with a simple layout of the map. just something done in 5 mins in paint or something, showing where everyhting goes |

Yeah, that's a good idea... I don't see people do that much though. Last time I saw someone doing that he was... well, flamed because it didn't looked well (even if it was a sketch)... I don't know when that was though, since I haven't been very active these last times. But still, people changes these times, forum changes... posts changes ;) (Hey, there is a edit button after all :P) BUt still, I support you with that Gitlich. Perhaps people should do that in the near future, posting a small drawing of how it has to look. |

Most people might not check this because there are so many posts here already, so they might think that we're helping him... I guess I should stop posting here then? :\ |

Well, I'd add a layout of what I need, but the main problem is that I'm bad with layouts/outlines for AoS terrain and terrain that is more...organized than other genres of maps -- planning out where things go and such; detailing things is more along the lines of what I'm good at in terraining...in this type of terrain that is. ^^ |
