Echo Isles contest!

Hey guys n girls =)
I'm challenging everyone to a competition were the goal is to do the Echo Isles, in all kinds of variations. -best one wins :D

is echo isles the place where the trolls live, just of the kalimdor coast?

i thought it sounded familiar, well just a sugestion, shouldnt you pics be at night, and have more of a dence jungle feel to them, rather than a loose costal jungle look. i always imagin huge 100ft high trees covered in bushes and shrubs at the base, with a few jungle stalkers in a small alcove

So, basically, it's jungle based troll villa, eh?

EDIT: Btw, somehow, those first pics reminded me of Crash Bandicoot, no offense for there is great deal of humour in Warcraft too and since World Editor's such flexible it leaves more for imagination to decide as to where and how to go.

These are my entry. After I gave it a little though I decided to go for a lost temple -style that has been raid by trolls and who now use it as fortress and home. It could have been built for some ancient deity and after some time overran by the bloodthirst of trolls.

sorry i have a hatred for the sunken ruins theme.

i dont think i could ever like a sunken ruins temple.

and although its good, it rly isnt troll.

Yea... The ruins are cool and all, but it just isn't the Echo Isles! they are much more jungle, and perhpas 1 or 2 minor ruins

Im back from vacation and I got interested in this post, so I made my own Echo Island. Tell me wut u tink.

ive got to say. youve gotten a lot of not so good crits about this terrain, and i think unfairly. it may not be the tradition veiw of trolls. but regardless, its a brillaint terrain. it looks crowded and chaotic just like a troll settlement should. a brillaint use of the sunken ruins terrain. the trolls them selves are placed well. the whole peice feels alive which is more than i can say for most terrains. the use of lighting is superb, and the overall effect of the terrain and the way it draws your eye round the pic is marvelous

Yeah, well, I think I could create some more junglecamp feel into the coast that is just beyond the hills that are seen in horizon, but in my opinion it would not stand out from the rest. So, despite the critic, I keep those pics. ^_^
