I've decided to reskin the blade master for a game I am making. The theme is basically, his skin got ripped off. Or burned, or something. This is in 512x512, my first attempt at high res. Tell me what you think. (btw, I know about the dark red triangle on his back, unfortunatly because of the model there is no way to fix that. Updated Pic on the far right. |

Well the idea was literally skinless.... But I couldn't find a way to make little bits of skin still attatched with it still looking good. |

Allow bits of bone (with stained blood on it) to show and then do the face. Make rips and tears in the clothes and give them a darker color. |

did you recololr or skin? if you recolored just leave some spots out not recolorign so it stays green then burn the edges around the green with black n red n it will be good |

he look more like a demon blademaster than a undead... and as MantisScreamer said, make more bones, give him more gray color instead of red... but if you want him as a demon, then it's no wrong with it... |

It will look much more like a skinless blademaster once I skin the face (I'm thinking of starting off with a skull and adding some muscle and tissue). And Sp4NKr, are you kidding? I made each strand of his muscle with a 1 pixel brush (very time consuming on 512). Definately not a recolor. And Zapp, do you mean the muscles should be a little greyer? I do realize they are pretty bright. |

will he have empty eye sockets, i think this wuld make a nice addition the overall effect. also when yuo say high res, dose that mean youve enlarged the skin in photoshop (or whatever you use) before skinning it? |

It doesn't look high res anyway, you might wanna add some detail. ;) |

I like how it is turning out. I might suggest making some bones show on his back, such as exposed vertebrae and his spinal column to make it look like it is sticking out. - Lazurus |
