Dude, whats your gamma at?

Edit: Can you also turn up texture quality to "High", some of the textures are kind of blurry.

It's not high at all, its just the program I used to convert it from tga to jpeg made it all light and blurry...I used the one found a few posts down in the taking screenshots thread.

First problem is that, there is no real ground there.. Just different kind of orc buildings. Add some higher places and more different ground to it.

The secnod pic is nice. but i cant say much for the rest. i think youd be better of laying out the roads first (be they doodads or terrain) then filling in the gaps bettween them. add more pig farms as doors along the edges of the other pics (a trick i picked up from Beam), and have somekind of focal point. i giant tower in the distance, or maby some terrain. like a mountain. aslo, i think orc citys look far better at nigh with lots of torches and other light sources

get some walking paths going. the dirt in the middle of the road is boring

Yep:)

And this is a WIP, I probably should have put that in the title....Ill do my best with the path thing, and I've planned out the actual city itself.

well, for example in the second pic, there a small alcove made from a tauren tent with some pig farms (or what look like pig farms) in the alcove. this could do with lighting up. also just put them all along the edges of the roads. 2 in front of every building, i use as a good rule of thumb. also things like piles or junk/treasure give a good effect as well

Thats......a lot of torches.

BTW, pics 2 and 3 are the same things, just different angles. Plus, I actually only added the torches in in-between taking pics 2 and 3 O_o...

Also, In pic 1, the wood floors have yellow lines at their ends.....how would I go about removing those? The model is the hiddel wood bridge thingy, as if you couldn't tell =)

you may want to add some tres, i personaly think the greenery give a nice contast to the brown and red of the orc buildings, while maintaining theyre somewhat haphazard aproach to building. Also, the orc blacksmith, or warforge or whatever it s called looks really good with the glowing red bit

Turn the texture quality up. The textures look blurry and faded.
