Are there any invisible abilities (no tooltip, no icon) that allow a user to set a hotkey for it? I haven't been able to find one. Has anyone else? |

For some reason, I'm thinking that theoretically, if you get something like UMSWE and set a spell to have its icon show outside the visible area (for instance, make the button's location be X=4, Y=5), then you could do something like this. Just hide the (technically visible) button somewhere off the screen, and the hotkey should still function, of course. Eh, that might work, I'm going off of a vague recollection, and it's late. Tell me how that works out for you. |

I tried it and it crased warcraft. What I really need is an item ability with a hotkey. |

I'm afraid it doesn't exist. I think the thumb of rule really is...if the skill has a order-string ... then it has a icon and a shortcut key. So all skills that don't have a icon, don't either have a order-string, and thus don't have a short-cut key either. ~Cubasis |

Maybe you could give all the unit's visible abilities a turn-off hotkey that isn't listed, and then set up triggers for the turn-off stuff that has nothing to do with the basic trigger? Just an idea, though a weird one. |
