well im sure u all have seen the weapons in the model sections in this website, like for example , the blade master holding the frostmourne, or kobald axe , and also many other weapons that can imported into the game and then attacked to a hero. what i want to know is how do u attach these custom weapons into a unit. could it be done by simply using the ft editor. in short , i would appreciate simple directions on how to import them and put them on a hero. if anyone could help me i would appreciated. ty in advance. . ^_^

i don't have much time to play so,you import the attachment into a map correct? you have the right path so it appears ingame and in the editor.here comes the trigger part, the events is up to you wether at the beginning or when the unit you want the attachment does something, the condition you skip, in the actions find the action type special effect,it should bring up the commands for the first one you input one of the attachments points which i do not fully know, the second one click that, click variable, select a unit and click on your unit on the map, now your unit is selected the computer must know what to put click the final blue phrase and click imports to find your attachment. test your map and happy testing. ^_^ :D..uh oh gtg ill try to post a pic tomorrow

edit the model to remove there old weapon if they have one. then use special effect triggers to attach a new one to there hand.

Okay you can also do this and have the attachment permenant. Just make a new Sphere ability, like the Blood Mage, and change the attachment points, and make the missile art, instead of Sphere, make it your weapon!

the good thing about using the sphere ability instead of a special effect trigger is that you can remove and change weapons just by adding and removing the ability. Otherwise, you have to set the weapon effect as a special effect variable in order to mess with it later
