Game Crash

Some computer whiz, please help me with this problem.

I had W3-ROC installed before. The game ran smoothly enoygh. But, the computer used to reboot suddenly without any warning when I was playing ROC. This happened only with the game and no other s/w. I managed to finish off the game somehow(it happened abt 3 times during a playtime of 3 hrs).

Now, I got TFT. I am facing the same problem again. The system reboots suddenly.

Now, I am exasperated. I the middle of a tough game(i am winnig too), the system reboots and I got to repeat all over again. I want a solution to this problem.

I use Nvidia TNT Model 64/ Model 64 Pro.
256 MB RAM.

Can somebody suggest something??

Perhaps your computer is overheated? Not the first time it happend for me :p What you tell sounds pretty familiar since I had the problem myself (sort of).

If your computer automaticly reboots itself in 3 hours you might want to keep track of the time when playing though. Every 3 hours you could try turning your computer off if the time duration decreases when it has rebooted.

That's no real help, but all the help *I* can give. Sorry, like I said I'm can't really say what to do against it.
I'd wish you luck with it though. Though you might get some more help if you post it in the 'Off-Topic Section'. I hardly ever come there but they might be able to help you there more (more people hang out there after all ;)) And after all, this is the site discussion.
