I've been working on an RPG for a while now. I've been messing around, creating item systems, NPC chat systems, and a lot of other systems. I've redone them over and over, especially the item system. Finally, I've decided on how I'm going to be doing these systems. Some info on the map will be explained in this thread.

Map Idea:

The map is a real time RPG. It's hack and slash, but not in the way you think. Instead of just going up to a monster and attacking and casting spells, you do "Combo" attacks (like in fighting games). Doing combo attacks deal extra damage to monsters and some combos cast spells after the combo is finished. If you get what I mean... That's basically how the gameplay is.

Never Before Seen on Battle.net
-Unique Combo System
-Unique Item System
-Unique NPC CHat System
-Unique Use of Multiboards

Other
-Unit Classification Systems
-Weapon Classifications
-Skill System
-Quest System
-Lots of other minor things

I haven't thought of a storyline, however I am open-minded to some suggestions.

Wern't you working on a bnet map that used a savecode? you called it a mmorpg i think.

is this the same map?

I was.. I cancelled it however. I found that I liked this idea more. I didn't call it an MMORPG by the way, just similair.

'tis more than enough, and if you're willing, I will teach you some JASS, to get you started. Tell me if you're interested in working with JASS, and then I will PM you with your job if you are still wanting it.

Yeah man, JASS is good. I trigger about 90% in JASS now. (Some things are just easier in GUI)

Hey. I was actually looking for something to work on. Only skill i could contribute as of right now would be my drawing, which isn't even that good. This is my gallery. But i am willing to learn anything needed to be learned in order to be an asset. And don't worry, if i'm not accepted i won't take it to any offense seeing as i have an ass resume. ;)

Well, I'm not really in need of a concept artist, but maybe in the future if I decide to use custom models and such, you'll be first on my list.

This was 2130 polys. Obviously not for War3, but practice. If you want, I could optimise it, and put it as a portrait.

What exactly do you mean by item designer? Do you mean thinks of items for the map? If so then I will do it, all I need is a little background and history and how important items are on the game.

Items are exceptionally vital to the game. What I mean by item designer is the following...

Determines:
Item Drop System
Item Prefixes
Item Suffixes
Types of Items
Stats of Items

Object Edits:
The Items that are required

Triggers:
Stats of an Item
