I already the campaign maps from the war3.mpq, and i tried editing them, i want Jaina to be available in most mission after mission 6 ( the Culling ) and to store her data in the game cache and load it again mission after mission, i just copy-pasted how the map saved Arthas in the game cache, and then changed all the Arthas to Jaina, i've set all the variables ( the one about Arthas, i created new one, based on Unit, and not array, and then the set variable - Arthas = (Last restored unit) is also changed, everything is changed ), and then i put it on the war3patch.mpq, and i started WC III and start playing human campaign, NOW THE GAME WOULDN'T EVEN LOAD/ SAVE ANY CACHE FROM ANY LEVEL! even the ones i didn't edit, i just put the whole human campaign on the war3patch.mpq, now the characters are not even saved or loaded! what's wrong!? even the human01-05 that i didn't edit, it's still won't load anything ( but I DO put the unmodified in the war3patch.mpq ), the mission after it works well, i don't mean the loading/saving cache, but having Jaina, everything works well, but the cache is still not saved :( what's wrong, pls help me! Is it because i put everything on war3patch.mpq? emote_sweat

One more thing, how can i add the new abilities and spells on to the editor? to the World Editor, so that i can use the triggers about telling the unit to do the new ability via triggers in the World Editor? Any .slk files controls this? pls help!

I think your problem is the load order. Stupid blizz messed something up and everythings screwed now. And to edit the abilites, its a bit of the .txts and a bit of the .slk. The slk if you wanna change things like the area of effect and damage, and the .txt for the animation and naming and all that. Just make sure when you alter the .slk file you dont make the mistake that every newbie on the site has made and save it in the excel or whatever program you have's default type. Save it as a sylk, or also known as .slk file. And if it doesnt give you that option, its because your using spreadsheet, not excel. And it wouldnt even really matter right now anyway, its all screwed up anyway.

Nah, you don't understand, i'm talking about game cache here, it got nothing to do with v.1.03, and just to test it, i'm trying this on v1.02, still doesn't work.

The second question is not about the spells not in game, it is about how can we tell our unit in the WORLD EDITOR to use the new spells.

But thanx for the reply anyway.... :sweatdrop

anyone can help?

ARGH! I know what's wrong at last but it's a REALLY ANNOYING THING! I can save Jaina cache everytime wherever i put them ! BUT THE wrong thing is! If i add a custom spell the game wouldn't save the cache! It's not just the spells / abilities! The item counts too! whenever i add custom spells! DAMN IT! Someone know how to do it? How to make the cache saved even with custom spells? RoK can, why can't i!?
