World Editor Crashes Upon Boundary Change

The first time I tried to change the map bounds of an old map of mine, everything went smoothly. The editor deleted all the doodads and units present in the no-longer-existent areas, and opened up the new section of the map flawlessly. I closed my first attempt because I didn't crop the map quite how I wanted it. GOD, I'd give anything if I hadn't....

Basically, to clarify, I'm taking the NE corner of an old map and making it the new SW corner of a new map-- and getting rid of the west and south areas of the old map.

NOW, every time I try to do this again, on the same map, nothing different, the beyatch crashes on me. Why in the world can World Editor not handle this? My computer is a hoss, it can't be a problem in handling the proceedures. Anyone else experience this before?

Hm, well, my editor crashes everytime i test a map then close out of wc3 then maximize it. So i always make like 2 backups of a map, and save them both before I test. I started doing this after I lost all my work several times, I do not know the problem, although you should make back ups of your map in the future.

I'm not concerned about the loss, I'm just concerned that the map boundary moving function does not work without crashing. I just had to copy/paste the terrain into another map intstead, but this should work!
