Nice Icons. They are Really good. The only thing thats missing is bgrounds. The black is just too plain.

Nah the backgrounds are okay. Just has to add aura kind of thing around the weapons. Blizzard icons always has black background with only very plain object shown ;)

Totally untue there are alot of icon with backgrounds. Theres black arrow hs this weird purple and black thing like in my sig, Reincarnations is 1 color in the bground. One thing i noticed about Blizzard icons is that they ofen use dynamic angles and close ups. U will see a pic of a tomb, but it will be facing u at a angle and parts will be going off the sides. All that has to be done is to give people the idea that its a spear or staff. No need to sow all of it. [that last thing was just a theroy i had on icons]

Ok, the spears, shield and axe icons look like screenshots from their models. And the arrow is an edited version of the NE ballista's upgrade and the moon glaive icon looks like an edited version of the huntress upgrade. Or is the arrow a screenie of the ballista bolt? Sorry if I'm wrong here.
