i made a level thats like the original legend of zelda games, that has fully working keyboard controls and an overhead view, but i cant decide if i should make it a campaign or an open rpg, what do you think? |

a campaign like the founding of durator in tft. you could build the main environment on a huge map, and each dungeon in a smaller map. you could travel between the 2 maps freely without using items, health, and all that |

Remember that "Ledgend of Zelda" is an action/puzzle game, not a kill all the enemies with lots of magic type of game. Go easy on the battles and heavy on the puzzles to make it fun. |

The fact is that Zelda is a RPG, but it is a different style from FF, this happens because their are both the same age, sort of. And because of the fact that Zelda does not have FF elements, which now appear in every RPG, people think that Zelda is an action/adventure game, but if you think well, in these games you cannot move as freely as Zelda or any so-called RPG. About the question I think you should mix both, an RPG with the map freedom of the tft Orc campaign, because you can´t just put the Zelda Universe in a single map. |
