new "Tassadar" MOD

NAS(New Age Software), Mr.MapDesigner(from Era Creations) and BugsyMOD(from Star-Craft-2.com) have joined to create a new MOD named Tassadar.

This MOD is a Map Campaigns combo telling the story of Tassadar from the day he found a Zerg probe heading to the Koprulu sector. Thereafter , Tassadar makes a terrifying discovery upon reading the probe's mind.That the probe was sent to study the Terran colonies the Protoss were custoding and protecting in silence from above.

The Conclave orders Tassadar to incinerate the planet once it is found that it has been infested. Tassadar preferred to find other ways, respecting the lives of the Terran specie. During this months of observation, not far away, Tassadar finds an intriguing psionic presence in Shakuras. He finds the Dark Templar Society, exiled centuries ago. Tassadar spends some months with the Dark Templars and learns of the ancient psionic energies they possess, becoming a fast learning student of the new teachings.
The MOD consists of new Protoss buildings belonging to the Dark Templars, a new Carrier that will be used by Tassadar temporarily while Ganthritor undergoes repairs after a Zerg attack, and you will be able t o use as a playable unit, an interceptor. You didn't read wrong !!! You can play an interceptor unit and move it around in a straight line the same way you play a wraith. The only difference is that when you attack, the interceptor will go funky-style behaving like when he is in a carrier.

So far the Carrier and the interceptor are finished. Maybe few modifications of textures might be made. The next step will be Modifying the Protoss Buildings for the Dark Templars. Right now, we are reviewing the Single-player Campaigns of StarCraft to make sure we are on the boundaries of Continuity. Once we read it and make sure everything is ok, we will start writting the RPG for the Map Campaign.

ROnix is a new staff member at star-craft-2.com and will join the MOD staff for "Tassadar". He will help create some maps and will MOD some weapon effects for some units. We are gonna ask NanakiXIII to assist us with Map Triggers if his schedule allows it. He is good. So far BugsyMOD, leader of this project, is thinking about adding 3D Cinematics and sounds to this MOD. And Mr.MapDesigner is creating a new interface for the gateways where the satellite is at and will MOD some other stuff, possibly new Doodads, units or buildings.

Hopefully this New MOD will be released soon. We expect it to take a maximum of 3 months, and will try to make it sooner than that. It is a lot of work. We wil try to add many details to the RPG and the triggers. BugsyMOD is thinking about adding some puzzle spice and quests into some levels. We hope you like this MOD.
