My maps aren't showing up!

I'm running v1.15, and many of my most recent maps aren't showing up at all -- I open the relevant folder (Custom Game) and find that they're not showing up at all ... help?

Hm, I think I may have had this problem once when I was trying to run a map that had a compile error because of a funky trigger.

I don't know anything about compile errors in worldedit, but if you're trying to play a map over 4mb in multiplayer, it won't show up. 1 player has no size limit but mulitplayer does. If this is in fact your problem, try compressing skins or sounds.

Dude, that'd assume that at least half the maps there are on WC3Sear.ch and Maps.WorldofWar.net have compile errors o_O

Have you made any modifications to the game files? Are you running a strange system configuration? Are you sure that you have the maps in the folder that you think they're in?

I'm guessing you'd let us know if any of these were the case, but it's worth asking.

No modifications were made, I don't have a "funky" configuration, and the maps are in the designated folders (I double-checked) ... this has mostly come up after v1.15, but even in 1.14b I was having plenty of maps that crashed my game, including Kingdom Purge ...

Yea, didn't suppose so. Well, by the sounds of the problem, I'd say it's very unlikely that it's a problem in the WE or Warcraft 3 that you can fix. It seems like it's a problem between the game and your system. You might just want to have them duel and see which wins.
