WoW Chain Comic?

So, I decided to drop by and see if Darkangel had finally finished his pages. I've looked, but I can't find anything. I've looked through the Artist's Corner but haven't found anything.

If it has dissapeared, then I'm pissed. I've waited 3 months for Darkangel to finish his pages, only to find him working on his own "Not-Artist-Battle-Thread". What upsets me is that I wanted to work on the Chain Comic, but had to wait for Darkangel to finish before I could begin. Now I find out I waited for 3 months for nothing.

If the pages are out there, I'd like to see them. I could still do work on it, but, it seems to me that it is finished. If so, I'd like to express a degree of displeasure in the entire affair. It's another blow to artistic collaboration. When it began, there was a great rush, an influx in ideas, thoughts and artwork, which, after 3 months of waiting, has vanished into the abyss.

Now, this is only true if it's gone. If it's still around, and furthermore, if Darkangel has completed it segment, then I'd love to see it. But, it looks to me like Darkangel should've stepped down when he discovered he couldn't work. I wanted to work on the comic and, furthermore, was able to do so.

That is all.

Due to an unfortunate injury - DarkAngel wasn't able to work on his segment for a while. From what I have seen Erwt say a while ago - he's got 8 or so pages drawn out and they looked great. But, neither of them has commented on has has it progressed so far (inked, colored, etc.) so I have no idea what's up with DA's segment except apparently Erwt has gotten a look and may have started on part of his segment.

Yes, at first when the idea was announced - there was a lot of concepts and idea being exchanged between some of the finest artist here on the site... but that has long since died out. All the threads have found their way to the bottom of the forum and forgotten.

The people working on their segments only seem to talk to the next person in line privately instead of letting everyone in the group be aware of each other's ideas and progression. But, there wasn't anything set up to maintain order or communication or even limits or deadlines - so we just have to wait and hope the people preceding us just get their work done.

Dark Angel's non-artist battle thread is his current work cause he said he finished the chain comic thing and just didn't find the pad he put it in. So probably he's done just not scanned yet... maybe he didn't colour em yet.

undertow, please accept my most profound apologies on the matter of the chain comic. as lazarus mentioned, i was injured in a car accident and unable to work for about 4 1/2 weeks. immediately following this i was pressured to finish my portfolio for AP review in school, draining all but the most miniscule portions of my day. i have in fact found the pad that the comic is in and it is about a page away from completion. erwtie has seen the preliminary work so that he can start his part and pass it on to you when i do finish and post my work. the comic you have been hearing about WILL NOT be started until my current projects are completed, im posting so much about it recently so that i wont go insane with all my other projects and school.

It's been a month. This is clearly going nowhere. I won't be returning to check on the progress, nor am I going to promote or participate in this project any more.
