I'm making a Metroid map for bnet, and I need some models. They don't need to be very different from the base models, but they need certain animations, attachment points, and team color areas. They shouldn't be too complicated either; the less space taken up, the better :> And I can make the skins, unless you want to of course ^_^ So, here's what I need: Samus/Bounty Hunter - based on Warden, has crouch, morph ball, and spin-jump animations Metroid - A metroid =P Chozo statue/Torizo - based on Owlbear, can sit, get up, and stand straight Space Pirate - whatever looks good... Missile, Super Missile, and Power Bomb Ammo Pickups Missile, Super Missile, and Power Bomb Max Ammo Powerups Breakable block Unbreakable block Door/hatch (the blue part) Doorway (the grey cylinder part) Please reply if you're interested, I'm making some pictures and textures for the models right now :D |

Someone else is making a metroid map, I suggest you look into that. |

Already did, but I can't use any of those models... plus they were too detailed. I'm putting some music in the map too and I don't want it to take a super long time to dl. |

Meh, then good luck, I honestly don't think you will get any models with another project aiming for the same thing and you having nothing to show them of your work. |

Well, just to let everyone know, this map will be completely different from the other one. It looks like theirs will turn out alot like Metroid Prime, long, but never boring, with an epic story about "prophecies", and super insane graphics. I'm trying to make mine more like Zero Mission: minor plot, short game length, very replayable, you die alot, you can go almost wherever you want near the start (if you can survive), and it has frequent minibosses and bosses full of dodging fun ^_^ The items and minibosses will also be in different places each time you play. As for something to show for my work, who hasn't played Pyramid Escape? I plan to make the game very hard and intense, like PE. The main reason I need the models is so the game makes sense. I don't want you to roll into a ball and turn into a boulder stuck in the ground, or look like a warden walking in mid-air when you jump or use screw attack. Or you enter a room with creepy music, only to find a metroid that looks like a floating green spider or something... If you have time to read this, surely you can make some models? Please? |
