Great new Idea for a Map!

I realy like Mech games. and wc3 is limited on the robotic area.
"build your own hero" seems to be very populare of late. and that got me thinking. What if there was a map where you could build your own Mech. Have the head and torso the main section (so the portrit would look right) and the arms, legs,and weapons where all attackments. I know you would have to be skilled with modling but that would make an awsome map. and each hero would look uniqe. Its a good way to have your name know all over b-net.

the main section would have to have bones for the arms and legs and animations for using the invisable parts. but think how amazing that would be.

YES! that would be very cool to see. the only hero creation maps ive seen was actually sort of gay. you went up to like level 1000, and gained like 10 levels a minute.

but anyways, yes that would be very complicated. it would probably involve some sort of advanced variable storage system. and like you mentioned, need bones and invisible pars

it would be very fun to see.

I wish i had the programs and knowledge to do it my self. This idea will never get off the ground. but its good to dream :\

you could go farther and have a unit just be a bunch of animated bones. THEN the attachments would each go on another bone.... but what the hell am i talking about..

now if only some one was willing to make the modles then we would have a brand new style of map. that every one will be amazed over!
