Boat/Float Movement Type Bug?

I've noticed that, in most games where people build up large navies in Genesis of Empires, the game will inevitably crash.

The only occurance of this apparent 'Memory could not be read' error is when people have the boats, and no other time.

I've remade the offending units multiple times, basing them off of different units (an impossible longshot) in order to stop the crash. The only thing these units have in common now is the movement type float.

Is there a known bug with 'float'? Or is there some underlying reason for this?

Have you tried making them Amphibious, but not with movement type Float?

No, I haven't.

I wish I could test this easier, but the bug is sporadic and it might take hours for it to manifest itself- and if it never occurs in a test game, it still might happen the next.

Now Norbo, the problem you have there is your never online, and refuse to host Ancient Civilizations for your number one stalker. Maybe if you go online once in a while the problem will work itslef out. (Just make it so the boats dont float! Make it so they are a different movement type...there's another one other than float you can use) And i think you should make the amphibious tank!

Ah, I'm on all the time, you just don't know it.

But, as much as I love ships walking around on land, I'm going to have to keep working on this nutty bug.
