Actually im not quite sure on that because i nva use world editor, but if i remember correctly. U need to do it like evrything else. If u go to the import menu and double click on the tem theres a box that lets u change the path. U can make it a single dirrectoy just make it the name of the file.blp. Now when u wanna use it. All uhave to do is look for that name. Hopefully some1 with more experience will come to the resque but i believe im right. |

Icons don't have a set path... You can set the path to anything you like. When you use it for a unit (Art - Icon - Game Interface), double click it and go to Import, and in the roll down menu, click on the path of your icon. Then press OK. Tada. I hope this was clear enough. |

if you're doing just any skin any path is good enough. however, buttons that you want to have a disabled version for should go in the replaceable textures folder under their corresponding folders such as passive and disabled. just run the wc3 image extractor 2 under list view. it shows the mpq pathways. |

Icons can have any path you want. If you really want to, you can overwrite existing ones, but it's not necessary. In general, normal icons go under ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTN*iconname*.blp; disabled icons go under ReplaceableTextures\DisabledCommandButtons\DISBTN*iconname*.blp; and passive icons go under ReplaceableTextures\PassiveCommandButtons\PASBTN*iconname*.blp. Hope that helps. |
