What abour searching? Also just EVERYONE knows the Art Tools, out since a long time, done by blizzard. You can find it on blizzard.com and nearly every wc3 modding page!

Look do you think I would come here bothering you if I hadn´t already make a search?
I know that the download area has many tools but I didn't find what I was looking for.
Besides the Art Tools don't let you Import, only EXPORT.

Now don't come here wasting the thread's space if you can't help me.

I don't know how much you know, so these instructons might be too hand or easy.

Editing geometry is doable. Use this. Set the import settings to static with "Bone Rotations" unchecked. Click import MDX and pick one that you've exported. You can then edit the meshes as long as you do not delete or add vertices. Do not move entire objects; use the sub-object level.

Exporting and reincluding the animations is trickier. Export the objects you modified as MDX. Convert to MDL using Yobguls' File Converter. Also convert the original file to MDL. In the MDL with the geometry you edited (which you can open with any text program), search for "Geoset {". Copy starting with the "Vertices" line directly after that and ending with the } after the "Normals" section. Now open the MDL you got from the original model. Search for "Geoset" until you find one with a vertex number that matches that of the geoset you copied. Paste the vertices and normals of the copied geoset over the old ones. Repeat for each geoset. Finally, convert back to MDX.

If you're just doing a simple model edit and you don't want to go through the above, you can try my program (download VertexModify.zip). It opens MDLs directly and allows you to manipulate with moving, rotating, and deleting vertices.

Editing animations depends on your version. If you do have greater than 4, try this tutorial.

The .mse file is a MaxScript. Open up max, go to the MaxScript menu item, Click on Run Script and browse to the .mse file.

Next, click on the Hammer icon on the right-hand side of the screen. In the Utilities window you should see a MaxScript button. Click it to open the MaxScript window. It should open up below the Utilities window (you may have to minimize the Utilities window to see the MaxScript window.

In the MaxScript window you should see a drop-down menu box that shows the importer. Open the drop-down and click on the Importer item. That should open up the MDX Importer window below the MaxScript window.

Choose your options and let 'er rip!

Now that that's done, I have a related question I'm hoping someone more experienced than myself can answer:

Once I've imported the MDX into Max, how the heck do I get the textures to show up properly? I'm a novice with Max, but I can (hopefully) follow instructions easily enough! :>
