I'm making a new D&D map. This map will feature... -All custom units. Im not using every single WC3 model, but I feel that by making the units myself, there will be more strategy in D&D maps, and FAR more possibilities. Currently, there will be :EDIT:270:EDIT: units not counting buildings, and I will add more "Special" units that would be useful in boss battles and such. -A new unit creation system. Instead of searching through tons of units, only up to 30 will be displayed at one time. There are different groups of units that the DM may display at any one time. There will be many preset ones, but the DM will also be able to make his/her own group from units he/she uses often. -Good terrain. Im not the best terrainer, but I will create terrain that is practical. Most D&D maps out there either dont offer enough control for the DM, players often wander into spots they shouldnt go yet and such. This map will have terrain thegives the DM control, and unique areas for fights, boss battles and other such things. -Special features. I need some input on this, things I should do. I will give the DM control over Day/night, invulnerable/vulnerable, etc... However, I think I will also add things like giving the DM the ability to... link one unit to another, so if one dies, so does the other. Things like that So hows it sound? Any Input? |

Oh, well I guess no one cares... Im still gonna make the map tho, dont worry. Ill start posting screenshots soon. I just wanna say that I sed there were like 700 units, but that was a mistake, I think i read the wrong spot, there are only 270, but they are all custom. Now more features Ill make the DMs area laid out as nicely as possible, and make it as Simple to use as possible. remember that. -Day and night time chaning(Of course) -Unit size and color changing. -Atleast 5 customizable spellcasters, ones where the DM can set up their spells for a unique expirience. -Inulnerable/Vulnerable unit set up Let me know of any I miss, there are too many to name them all, im just naming ones that come to my head. |
