My dwarves versus goblins project is going ahead very well, without many new models at all* ^_^ However, I realised very soon that the goblins lacked any units whose animations would really allow anti-air attacks. What I really need is one goblin on foot with some sort of wacky gun that looks as though is on the point of exploding in his face (Nothing too space age; needs to be able to target air units). I also had an interesting idea for the shreder. I was wondering if i could make it another anti-air unit as the dwarves have two. At the moment I use it as a combat unit and not as a harvester so the funnel on one of it's arms would seem slightly usless. I thought mabye it could be made into some sort of rocket laucher with some effort. If you have any spare time please have a go. I will be sure to remember anybody who helps out. *the following models are being used at the moment: Goblin: infantry: Tinker (no glow by wilbo), sapper (replacable), clockwork goblin. vehicles: shreder, robo-goblin (alternate animation; no glow by wlbo). aircraft: GoblinGlider (model by Xaran Alamas; icon by exN) Zeppelin. Dwarven: infantry: (mabye mountain king, no glow) , rifleman, mortar team. vehicles: Steam Tank (ROK), Siege Engine (TFT). aircraft: Flying Machine (TFT), Gyrocopter (ROK). |

i can only add a suseggestion, i believe that the golem dragon model has a ranged attack animation, but if your only using blizzard models ignore this. also the goblin blaster and blitzer might be of some use. |

I'm not just using blizzard models (ex: Goblin Glider), so if you have any models that might be good then please tell me, but give me a link. The goblin Blaster is actually just the shreder model with an explosion for a projectile art (to uses its saw and then there is an explosion) this looks alright... but only for land units. I don't know of any goblin blitzer. Please enlighten me. |

yeah and that golem dragon thing has a goblin on top which is sadly not animated but its useable i think. although i don't know if it shoots in the air as its based on an arachnatid or something like that |

Its based on a turtle. My Goblin Scorpimech was based on the Arachnathid. |

sorry about the confusion but the "goblin blaster" also a unit in the WE by default. It's a shreder with a frag drill (orcs - campaign) I found the blitzer (telsa-tank sort of thing) but I havn't found the blaster yet. If it's a goblin on foot then it's just what I need! I havn't given up on that shreder idea mind. If I do use the blitzer though, the goblins will have 3 vehicles and they already have more units than the dwarves (see top message). |

there's always the three separated goblen sapper models in the dl section you could use... |

the problem with those goblins is that they still don't have a long ranged attack. so I still have the same problem, good idea though. The blitzer will take some tweaking to get ready for the map. I need to edit things like projectile origin and backswing point. I also need an icon. I realised somthing obvious recently. so obvious I feel stupid: the tinker may have had his glow removed but he doesn't decay! If anyone can make a basic "corpse goes down" animation for the tinker (and robo-goblin) that would be really helpful. BTW The dwarves are short on units though they do have plenty of long range. I might use the mountain king (no glow) if I can't find anything else, if somebody could give me the /mdx for me to edit that would be good as I have computer problems and I am unable to install winMPQ. I might also use Cookies general if it has an attack. |

for the Tinker, you could have a trigger that removes its corpse and puts another one there to make it look like it's the tinker's corpse |
