A few questions

Right, I made my nasty-looking model, and I got a few questions about texturing it.
I'm using Max 4.2 and Texporter (I heard this was the way to make a texture map, if there's another method please let me know).

1) I know that having objects overlapping can cause problems, and I'd like to know a way to stop it from happening. I've got a box going into a sphere, and appart from collapsing them I can't think of a way to stop overlap.

2) I'm using Texporter, but it's only letting me map one object at a time. I don't want to collapse them, because I'd like part of the model to have teamcolor-alpha and the rest of the model to have normal alpha. I tried grouping the model together, but that didn't work.

3) Texporter only seems to let me make a map from one angle, is there any way to change this?

Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

I use 4.2 and texporter too.
What you have to do is, when you have UVW mapped every object, and putted it in the right places in the unwrapping thing, then collaps all modifiers on all objects. Then pick on of the objects, and then attach the others. Now make sure everything is all right in the unwrapping. Then use texporter.
Hope it helped :D
