pathing maps

we all know buildings and doodads have pathing maps, what i'd like to know is if there is a way to edit them, like editing the pathing map of a doodad bridge so 2 segments can be linked together without gaps between 'em?

the screenshot shows what im talking about, the 2 segments cant be directly next to each other because of the pathing map.
any editors or programs available to fix this??

The pathing info of doodads is stored in TGA files in your war3.mpq in the directory "\PathTextures\".
The colors code and the TGA format are described in "inside W3M files" there (tutorial section):
http://wc3campaigns.com/modules.php?...s+-+by+Z%E9pir
Look for "6) "war3mapPath.tga" The Image Path file and/or "war3map.wpm" The Path Map File".
That should help to edit the TGA.

If you want to replace TGAs by others or add new bridges for example, you'll have to edit "\Doodads\Doodads.slk" (in war3.mpq).
Have fun!

or you can just use the numbers on the numpad to move it...

Actually, Mythmon was correct. You don't need to do any path editing to make bridges overlap. Simply place the two bridges (anywhere really). Then select one of them, hold down control, and use the num pad to move the bridge. By holding down control you turn off doodad collision, so doodads can overlap
