Is there an easy way to copy triggers/variables from one map to the next?

well uh theres a file that houses the trigger data... now im not sure i think its called war3map.j or something tho....ask like weaader or something im sure he would know

yeah, its war3map,j. If you copy that from one map to another one, you'll have the triggers.

For the triggers, you can just copy-and-paste. You know, 'Control-C' to copy and 'Control-V' to paste. Just copy the entire group of triggers at once. Yeah, for the variables, it's in the war3map.j

war3map.j is the only file I need?

I imported that from an old map, into a new map, and the triggers were all blank.

Although, it maybe a problem with WinMPQ, been having problems importing things into maps with it.

Eh, actually variables _aren't_ stored in the .j. Or well, they kinda are, but they won't show up in the variable editor from what I understand, I think that's .w3x.

Triggers just use the built in copy and paste.

if you open a map it erases every thing you imported so it wouldnt show up in the map with world edit try to do it then test it before opening it in WE

Actually see not entirely true Mythmon... that's only if you've imported files foreign to w3ms... like slks or txts. If you overwrote the .j file it would work fine but all the other triggers would be gone.
