WT 3: Ambush Scene

This week's assignment will be to create an ambush scene.

Description: An armored column is about to ambushed. You choose the setting, the race of the ambushers, the race of the ambushees, whether you want to show the scene before, during, or after the ambush.

This assignment will be due next Friday at 12:00 AM (your current time zone).

EDIT For those of you who don't know what a column of troops is, it is a military formation where troops march in a long line several people across. Of course, you don't have to make a column. You could make a ragtag horde or loosely organized bandits etc. As long as it is a military formation.

Hmmmm.... this sounds intresting. I suppose u can use ANY terrain for this one?

Column as in a tower or obelisk or a column of units(a military formation)

Anticipation... a moment of calm before the Bloodletting.

I like the rain a lot. It just makes the scene feel like somethings gonna happen to ruin their day. I like the color you used for the orcs. They blend in great but you can just make them out through the rain. I can see it playing out like a footman thinking he saw a headhunter or something when the lightning hit but just putting it off as his imagination. Feels like somethings missing though..maybe the open horizens need something more.

What do you mean with column?

A military formation. Such as troops, generally aligned in strait lines, marching to a destination.
