I'm still in the skinning game! Imperial Destroyer

Imperial Destroyer
These hulking metallic monsters of the Adaptus Mecahnicum are the terror of all the races of the galaxy. Crippled babies with intact and often brilliant minds are incarcerated at birth inside the metal tomb of an Imperial Destroyer. The Destroyers serve the Imperium fanatically and without question, felling all who oppose them with their powerful Gauss Discharger Cannons and Warp Flux Energies. Hurling all kinds of warp magics and energy blasts at their foes, a small squad of Destroyers can annihlate an army many many times its size.

Just to prove i can still skin ^_^ I felt like doing a futuristic metallic styled skin, got bored of tilesets for Enigma, so i did this baby. About 2 hours work, mostly freehand.

aah well... its a cool skin, especially to make that dude mech, its just brave... yeah, cool. its cool dude, its cool.

try to remove the two tubes and make one large tube, i honestly didnt noticed the tubes until i saw the square skin

Very nice skin though... you do need to work on the tentacle region a bit though... although i have no idea what to do with it.

to be honest iu think the club could use some work too... make the green lights a bit fatter and make them have more of an organic pattern... that would suit the whole of the skin much better.

Yeah, i recently started painting my Necron army for WH40,000 and i re-read the rulebook, most of the White Dwarfs and my Codex to make sure i had the rules up to date, so i had warhammer on my head when i made him. I dont want it to look 'Organic' as its suppost to be an inorganic thing, heh. I'm gonna make the vents meld better into the mask, but theres not much more i can do without model editing.

then why did you give the shoulderpad that ' organic' look..? eh? thust me i'd be better... right now the club is just... well it doesnt fit with the rest of teh skin...

heh, i didnt actually make the shoulderpad, i just recolored it, got a bit lazy there...

Anyway, update on the face and in game shots.

The club dosnt really fit with the rest of the skin because it has gauss energy discharger thingos on it, and the body dosnt (Surprisingly, soldiers dont have guns taped all over their body, cant work that one out)

the portrait needs some refinement... those gasmask thingies look cool, but you need to fuse them with the rest a bit more, round the edges around it somewhat you know...

Yeah, still workin on the portrait, next to do is to finish off freehanding the rest of the skin and add in some detail, yes this is still WIP.
